There is little doubt Mary Ogilvies was the noble heroine in dealing with ‘hostile’ local Kamilaroi tribes @ “Merton”. No one had successfully explained to the latter that after c. 60,000 years they had lost ‘title’ to the historical occupation of ‘their’ land.
