Scone ADFAS was very privileged to be the guests of David and Prue Arnott on a visit to historic Murrurundi in 2014. The acme of the excursion was the visit to ‘Glenalvon Stables’. The stables are undoubtedly among the best original sandstone constructed buildings in existence in the Upper Hunter. They are still in use. We were indeed fortunate to see this superb enduring talisman to early settlement.
